The thermo physical properties of materials are important for their applications. The thermal transport phenomena like thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, viscosity etc. and their temperature dependence have a very strong bearing on tailor making them for their end use. There are variety of phase transformations taking place in these systems providing these exotic phases some very interesting and unique structure and related properties.
